Making joyful objects.

I am a painter, illustrator, and designer.
I have 20 years experience as an art director, and over 8 years as a creative director.

For the past 17 years I’ve had the honor to lead the Product Design team at Lakeshore Learning Materials. Through those years we’ve created all kinds of great products and experiences. I’ve art directed thousands of toys, furniture lines, marketing campaigns, product packaging, catalogs, photo-shoots, signage systems, pop-up shops, and retail spaces.

I love working with and building super-teams, composed of people with diverse strengths and skill-sets, ranging from 3D sculptors, to illustrators, graphic designers, product developers, photographers, stylists, marketeers and engineers.

I’m a devotee to design thinking, process building, and I know that a healthy team is unstoppable!
